Inspire for Pregnancy

 

Ball and core

This class provides all of the benefits of a strength training workout performed on a physio ball to reduce the discomforts of leg cramps and postural hypotension (dizziness caused by blood pooling in the legs). Plus, it’s a great postural workout just by sitting on the ball! Extra core exercises targeted at specific areas for pregnancy will be performed both on and off the ball and of course will be modified for safety throughout all three trimesters of pregnancy.

Cycle and core

This fun and inspiring class incorporates a 20-minute cardio component on a stationary bike, followed by core matwork geared specifically for pregnancy. Because you’ll be cycling with other pregnant women, you’ll worry less about keeping up and making your own modifications and just come to the class and pedal away.

Class time: 12:10-12:50 pm Thursday lunch hour
