Fitness classes will focus on safe exercise during pregnancy and in the postpartum period. And just because they’re safe doesn’t mean you won’t challenge yourself and have fun! During pregnancy, classes will focus on strengthening exercises to minimize the discomforts of pregnancy. The postpartum classes will focus on promoting the safe return to exercise in a positive environment with other moms and babies. Ongoing tips and involvement of the little ones will be incorporated into the class. All exercise classes will incorporate an evidence-based approach and follow clinical practice guidelines recommended by The Society of Obtetricians and Gynaecologists of Canada.
Smaller class sizes will ensure more individualized care. A minimum of 4 participants is required to run a class. Evening classes are limited to 8 participants.
